Weddington Thistle works to the ideal that all money taken in, goes directly back to the players. This takes the form of holding a regular number of events throughout the year that is subsidised by the club to keep the costs down for the players. Social events such as race nights, quizzes, visits to the Casino, Dogs and the Horses, to annual events such as Christmas Parties and Presentation Evenings are held throughout the year. NEXT EVENT DETAILS December 3rd 2010 - Hall Green Dog Track Weddington Thistle Committee would like to thank everyone for their support with the Event above. 40 or so attended and it proved to be an eventful night out. The feedback is that all that went enjoyed the evening. The End of Season Presentation night has been booked for the 3rd June 2011 @ the Old Eds. The evening will be only the same lines as last year but with maybe a Comedian. |
